Imagine this...

Take a few minutes to put yourself in the place I was last night...

Last night, the 25th of August was no normal Tuesday.  One Direction performed in Milwaukee for the first time in their 5 year history as a band.
As you know, I've been a fan and have supported them since 2011, parts of 2012 I wasn't because of pressure from people around me, Isn't that greatttt.  But guess what?  I don't care anymore of what anyone thinks of what I listen to or what I like.
Almost one year ago, October 2014, they announced they would be coming to Milwaukee, obviously I was excited and wanted to go.  Without going into detail of the months between October and May (not the greatest time of my life to be completely honest!!), I had some trouble actually getting someone to go with me. My wonderful friend agreed to go with me finally.  Our tickets arrived in May and I started counting down the days...

Last night it came to life.  Of course I still feel like it was a dream. The fact that they were in front of me is incredible.  My favorite songs live was just surreal.
Proud to admit, I cried almost the entire show and regret none of that. My arms hurt and I was thirsty and hungry but I gave it my all to really live in that moment because like I had prepared myself to be, it was the best day of my entire life.
I had never been so excited in my entire 16  years. Now, I have never been as sad that something was over or missed people so much.
The music, the people... just amazing.  (Living proof last night that Directioners aren't 12.  We were when we started liking them, obviously! Mostly everyone was my age or older!)
I know they say similar things each show, but the sincerity was real. They meant every word.  They really did love it here, I could tell.

Do you know what its like to have 4 favorite people that you have never met or until yesterday, seen, but completely trust them and love them more than anything else?  Well I do.  Because who was there when no one else was?  They were.  They may not know the details, but they realize that people feel this way and it makes them so thankful.  I could not ask for a better group of people to support and love. The awards we help them win by tweeting hashtags endless times a day, the songs we trend and get to the top charts without anyone else promoting it?  I love this family of Directioners and I love Harry. Niall. Louis and Liam more than anything.  They have made my life more exciting, given me something to really be passionate about and something that I have made so many friends through.  Think of all the lessons I've learned from just loving a band! Crazy. Maybe you think I'm overdoing it, but other people feel this way too and I cannot explain how happy I was last night to finally see them.

I am still in disbelief.
As a plus, Niall's hair was so fluffy and Louis had his the way I like it the most and Harry.. his hair is always perfect and Liam's is always in perfect place.  They all wore the outfits I had hoped they would, that was fantastic LOL.
And they played four different 5SOS music videos before and I got to see them on the big screen <3
And when Harry threw water into the crowd from his bottle, I was hit with it... I'VE BEEN GIVEN NEW LIFE :')

They talked about our state and that they loved it here.  They talked about cheese and the Packers and how excited they were.  They said they loved us and were so thankful.  And I knew they meant it.

I wish I could thank them personally, but until that day I'm gonna keep doing what I am now.

Here are the best of the terrible quality pictures I took!

I don't think I will ever get used to the fact I. SAW. THEM.
Unbelievable.  Best day of my life <3

Really random fandom stuff and WOW THREE DAYS TO 1D

Hey guys!!!

Welcome to another one of my casual rants,

What I am preparing myself to be the best day of my life, is just three days away.
I already know One Direction is going to go way over my high expectations because, they're that awesome.

This week, they released their new music video for Drag me Down which is super epic because it was filmed at NASA. Here is the link!!!! Drag me Down video
That song is so catchy, I will never get over it,

Aaaaand that same day, 5SOS performed on GMA and they ROCKEDDDDDD.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAND 5SOS new album is getting closer too!!! Don't forget, its October 23rd!!  You can pre order it on their site and elsewhere: Pre Order Sounds Good Feels Good

Oh and just to go over this, Thursday morning I was at my friends house, everyone was sleeping but me.  I was scrolling through Twitter and saw the hashtag #WeLoveYouMichael.  Figured something bad happened, so I checked it out.
Just so happens, my main bae, Michael Clifford of 5SOS, opened up about his mental health at a show.  He has never mentioned it before and said he had gone to therapy the other day while on break.  I was really hit by it, as was the rest of the 5SOS fam.  People had claimed it to be a joke, but when they were on GMA, he spoke briefly saying "He is taking care of it"
So there I was, upset and honestly, didn't want to talk about it because TEARS,
Heres an article too: http://www.billboard.com
Wow so many links in this post.

We already had known this but I quote:
"Earlier this summer, 5SOS drummer Ashton Irwin admitted that he’s “dealt with anxiety and depression in my life” and said the group’s upcoming record, due out this fall, will tackle some of those personal issues. “With our next album we want to sort of have more messages for life involved in what we do because we have a voice for young people,” Irwin said."

Also, they keep saying they are starting something called the New Broken Scene, also a lyric from the single Shes Kinda Hot. Ashton calls it a revolution for misfit kids of the time, who feel like they have no where to go.  Sounds pretty good right?  Well it all comes to life in their new album :D
I swear I should be a promoter ok? ok,

BACK TO MY ORIGINAL TOPIC!!!

I AM SEEING ONE DIRECTION.  I'M GONNA SEE NIALL PLAY HIS GUITAR, AND HARRY'S HAIR FLIP, AND LIAM POINT TO THE CROWD AND TELL EVERYONE TO BE LOUDER AND ASK IF WE'RE HAVING A GOOD TIME AND LOUIS TO ROCK THOSE HEAVENLY HARMONIES AND TOTALLY SMASH 'NO CONTROL'. yep, okay.
I'm excited now, haha.

I will be totalllyyyyy posting pics here the next day or so, maybe a snapchat video too or IG picture :)

WISH ME LUCK OK???  I might post the day of it as well!!!!

Mid summer updates

I have been super inactive on Blogger lately.  Updating and even reading other blogs.  Summer camps have finally ended for me before I move on to the next part of my summer!

Counselling two camps with different age groups was super amazing and fun.  Most of the girls there were fantastic!
Being home is weird!  Lat weekend I was in my camper with my friends and now I'm actually at home again and last night slept in my own bed for the first time since July 4th.
I can't update with pictures right now but I had a great two weeks of camp.  From my last post I was super wiped out and that was true but I really did enjoy it as usual.

I can get back to usual posts before I go on vacation, etc.

Also today, 5SOS released their new single "She's kinda hot".  Even I thought it sounded like the stupidest song yet but nope.  don't judge a song by its title because the lyrics and music are amazing. They say its a great lead up for the album and they are releasing a video soon.  The song honestly has nothing to do with the title after the first verse.  Super catchy too of course.

-40 DAYS TILL ONE DIRECTION FOR ME- yes!

Updating again soon!

Summer Mission Camp with pictures

Like I had introduced in my last post, I went to my summer mission camp from last Sunday to yesterday (Thursday). It was different from our usual camp setup, as this year we were teaching Hispanic children from the area.  In the morning we would have a talk and breakfast and maybe an activity and then in the afternoon we'd set up our activities and games for the kids.
The children that came were from ages 5-12 and from a local church. The church currently doesn't really have any religious education for the kids, so in winter and spring we hosted day camps for them as well. Now we offered our week of camp to host a camp for them.  We split into rotating groups each day so each team of us could experience the different age groups and activities for them. It was so great.  Everyone loved it and the parents were very grateful.  Also even educational for me when the children spoke Spanish and it was great to learn a bit more and practice with them. I really, really liked this week.

These two pictures above are from a room in the new addition to the Schoenstatt center in Waukesha. Its  a new room for the Girls Youth that the Wisconsin leaders titled 'The little kingdom', where in May we crowned the picture of the Blessed Mother together as the Wisconsin leaders circle.
We have new couches, curtains, etc. and it worked really well for hosting our first camp so far in the new room.

Each afternoon we took the kids outside for their snack. There was around 50 kids total!

This photo above is of me (I'm 4th from the left side) and the work team I led this week for helping with chores after meals and group discussions through the week,  Two of my friends (both girls next to me) were in my group and three new girls I made friends with :)

Just a photo of two of the leaders teaching the children about the Schoenstatt shrine.

Three pictures above are from our bonfire on Tuesday night.  Each night after the children left and after dinner, we all did something fun.  I actually strongly dislike the bonfires at camp but thankfully the weather was nice and there was no mosquitos.

Wednesday night the whole camp of 35-ish girls went out for ice cream! The photo under my ice cream is (from left to right) My best friend, Ellen, me, my super good friend Clare and our Youth sister in Waukesha.

This picture is of Clare and I in our matching shirts we bought in Germany!

Me and my team again!^

In the midst of 50 children, my really good friend, Abby, Ellen and I.

We decorated the garage for the children's crafts!

If you follow my Instagram, you may have seen this top picture. The bottom one is with two college age girls who are involved with Schoenstatt and are travelling around the country to host summer camps, a super special opportunity!
Apart from endless selfies, these are the photos I took :) I had a really great week, reuniting with friends and making new ones! Also such a wonderful experience teaching and playing with the kids that came!

Catching up | Take 2

If you have the Blogger app, you may have noticed it does not sync your posts all the time from my phone to on the computer.  But once again, I was stupid enough to type this wonderful post that I really liked on my phone and of course it just didn't finish the publishing process.  So... I'm going to try my best to re-type what I can remember.

The weather here was not my type at all this past weekend!  It was cloudy and muggy outside.  But today it is really looking up!  A nice temperature and sunny.  Perfect for reading outside!  Currently, I am about one third of the way through "Girl Online".  Zoe Sugg's (aka Zoella) first novel!  It is super good and I am LOVING it so far!!

About the weather, it is sad that it was not the greatest weather this past weekend because I was on a May Crowing retreat at Schoenstatt.  I helped plan this retreat this year and it was really lovely!  I had a lot of fun with my friends and took some nice pictures I will upload sometime.

Tomorrow I am receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation that should be nice too!

Believe it or not, summer camps start for me just next month! Crazy!
I am going to summer camp next month and a day or two after I get home my family is going on vacation to Washington D.C. (that seems o be where we'll be spending alot of our time) and apparently a few things in some of the States around there.  I should get some GREAT photos from this trip!!!  And some blog posts about being in a car with ten other people for two days and in a camper for almost two weeks.
Then in July I am counseling two summer camps!   I'll be with my friends that whole time so it will be super fun!!!

I also entered to to a summer photography challenge as you can see from my sidebar!!  YAYYY!

Exciting!

April Favorites | a little late!

Not sure if you remember, but, a few posts ago I said I'd do favorites of the past month.  I forgot to do that but as its still the first few days of May, I think I can slide in my April favorites!!

Favorite:

Song - One of my fave songs this month was probably 'Dont you go', from All time Low's new album!

Movie - I didn't see any new movies last month but if I had my choice to watch a movie it probably would have been a Marvel movie anyways!

Outfit - Probably my black jeans and my blue tie front shirt that has a white collar (SO CUTE)

Nail polish color - My fave blue color!

EOS - The tangerine one, definitely

Fruit - STRAWBERRIES as usual.  Grapefruit came in with a close tie.

Quote - Had to look into this answer!  "The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams." E. Roosevelt

Thing I did - Hmmm... I guess this past weekend with my friends was definitely the best thing  I did this month and most of the year so far, to be honest!   (post for that coming soon!)

Looking forward to keeping track of what I really liked this month!!

#InternetBestFriendDay

Today is:   #InternetBestFriendDay
I know alot of people who think idea idea of having a friend online is stupid.  But I also know a few people who don't think so. Even my mom has internet friends!
Sure some people online are jerks or strange; but like me, if you follow the right people on Pinterest or Twitter, there are a lot of great people out there.
I met my internet bestie back in September and I am SO GLAD she messaged me.
My internet best friend and I had the same interests, issues and we just got along super well! We've helped each other through alot and have had a lot of great laughs.
I haven't met her yet but I know for sure that will be the best day ever!
So thanks to her and social media for one of the best friends ever<3

What I did last weekend (+and more)

♧ Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone!

I kept forgetting to post pictures of what I bought last weekend with my friends!

First, I got this adorable Aztec Print wallet for $2!  Yeah, only $2!!!
I actually don't remember where I got it because we went to so many stores it might have been Charlotte Russe... no idea.  Anyway, its a lot bigger than my other wallet! But of course I'll still use that one but this one is a bit nicer for spring and summer.

Next, I got an All Time Low wristband from HotTopic for $7.  It's hard to see the words on the wristband obviously because its round... haha.

Last but definitely not least, my friends bought me a 5SOS shirt from HotTopic for my birthday! Yayyy!!!  Its so wonderful.

Oh! And I finally bought myself an eyelash curler for $1. I kept forgetting I wanted one. I think those are just really nice and make your eyes look more open. And i have this horrible problem where my eyelashes get like, stuck together and this seems to help so far!

One more thing!  Tomorrow I have an appointment for getting a mold thing made for my retainer when my braces come off! The day they come off is getting closer!!! :D

Looking back: Friendship

Today, March 10th, marks 3 years of meeting 3 people. The best little sunshines I could ask for

What a day! I was 2 weeks away from turning 13 years old. I was at a retreat and there were 3 girls. 2 of them sisters and the other, their friend. I didn't quite like any of them.
Until the afternoon on the 10th, my friend showed up and apparently she knew these 3 girls and I started talking with them. They seemed okay.

I kept in touch with them and here we are, much later. We hang out as much as possible and we are all super good friends.

Some of my favorite memories so far were made with them.
I love them so much. They are the 3 people I can count on to be there. I think we've helped eachother through alot.
Though us 4 have definitely had our ups and downs, I think that has helped us grow a lot!
I have lots of friends that I've never gotten in arguments with and the ones I have had argued with are closer to me. Thats a big part of being in a friendship.

I could go on and on about the good times I've had with Ellen, Kristen and Teresa, but I won't. But heres to three years of friendship and many more to come!!!

News!

I have some exciting news!!

On March 31st I am scheduled for the removal of my braces!
To be quite honest I love and take pride in those metal pieces cemented to my teeth for the past 3 years of my life. I've grown to enjoy my smile (a bit more colorful, usually blue or currently teal braces) with them. Also I think I've gained alot of tolerance for pain! And cleaning my teeth is a job!
I probably do more cleaning than I have to... but I actually love having braces. Now its time for them to come off! Its gonna be so weird to see my now, straight teeth without this stuff all over them. I can eat and bite sandwiches with my front teeth without fear of having bread stuck in them. What a relief.

I'll be taking some before and after pictures! It will be pretty interesting!

I guess I'll wait till I get them off to explain all the crazy stuff I have had done with my teeth!

Also, in a few days it is my SUPER GOOD friend and I's 3rd year anniversary of knowing eachother! Expect a really sappy post about our friendship next Tuesday. Haha.

And last but well... I guess not least, my birthday is like, really soon! Trying to come up with an interesting post rather than, "ITS MY BIRTHDAY".
So expect something then too ;).

GERMANY PICTURES!!!!!!!!

Hey everyone!
FINALLY, here are my favorite pictures from my lovely trip to Germany!  I will give a bit of detail to each picture, so that you are not confused!  Enjoy xx

Our first view of the original shrine... very exciting!

Our USA group, walking towards the shrine

Father Kentenich's tomb.  What a powerful experience to be in the presence of the founder of the Schoenstatt movement.

This is the arena outdoors, where all the big celebrations and presentations took place.  It held us all... about 12,000 or more pilgrims here!

Torch runners from Italy.  They brought a torch, lit by Pope Francis, all the way to Germany in 9 days.  To welcome to Blessed mother, very symbolically.
Sideways picture XP Of the whole arena, everyone had lit candles.

This picture, I took at Midnight.  The first few moments of the next century of Schoenstatt!!

A view of the surrounding city.

The Rhine river!

A very special shrine:)

Town square of a medieval village!

The buildings all looked like this!

A church from the 1100's/

The altar of the church. It felt so neat to be somewhere so old.

More of the church.

Town square of Munich.  One of my favorite places for sure!

IT WAS MAGNIFICENT!

Here it is again :)

A very decorative ceiling of a church in Munich.

The altar of that church.

SELFIES!!!
(credit to these selfies goes to my friend Clare who is with me in all of them!)
Coke at a rest stop!

Outside the original shrine!

By a cute wayside shrine!

Our matching faux leather bows!

 Ice cream in Munich!

Outside the town square in Munich

With a giant bear in the medieval town :)

In the medieval town!

I hope you enjoyed my specially selected pictures!  Thanks for being patient :)
